Laura Elisa

I was born and raised in the enchanted mountains of Puerto Rico, where the air smelled of rain and stories. My childhood was shaped by a unique blend of the esoteric, the occult, and deep-rooted Christian mysticism. My parents led a meditation group called La Voz del Cosmos—The Voice of the Cosmos—and from them, I inherited both grounding faith and a wild spiritual imagination. My father passed down his love for music, Jesus, and Mother Mary. My mother, a poet and writer herself, gifted me the rituals of the earth, reverence for the unseen, and the kind of wisdom only passed through generations of women.

I grew up surrounded by soulful people who felt like family, in a setting that often felt like a little village tucked inside the stars. In high school, a literature teacher named Mr. Ramírez nurtured my love for storytelling—he encouraged group writing, creative risks, and let our imaginations run feral and free.

In 2016, my husband and I moved to the United States, and we now live in Oklahoma.

Now, I write stories that reflect the rawness of life—twisting real experience into spiritual horror, psychological suspense, and thrillers woven with the sacred and the profane. My stories are honest. Emotional. And sometimes terrifying. I write with my heart in my hands.

At 23, I married a kind and brilliant soul named Juan, a classical guitarist turned finance man. Together we are raising our daughter Mila—who is autistic, deeply kind, and the greatest gift of my life. She inspires me every day to see the world through eyes of wonder, sensitivity, and courage.

Project Buzz is my first novel. I invite you to follow my journey as I bring it to life—and to walk with me through darkness, faith, and the fierce love that binds us to one another.
